Interview
This is a part of my interview with Miss Chartoya Jamison...I decided to just focus on her career in school and what she wants to do after she graduates in the spring...

Ok, NOW the rest of the Soundslide Pix and Info About the Pictures...

I don't know why they're all being published in different size, bc all the sizes I saved in Photoshop were the same and I published them on the blog as "medium"....weird.
Anyway, let me talk about these pictures. I cropped most of them down to the core of what I wanted, like the first pic, the guy and a couple of other girls instead of about eight girls surrounding him. I lightened some pictures that were too dark (popcorn pic) and darkened some that were too light (guy pic, lady and girl, cheese and cracker). I just mainly messed with levels and hue/contrast, and cropped most pictures. No fancy editing, just simple stuff. I think my favorite is the picture of the guy in the seafoam green shirt and tie, and next fave is the popcorn picture or the girl getting the food!

Big and Gay in...An Ice Cream Truck?!
I like the end...my favorite part. Sounds a little cut off almost, but was the best I could do.
Cut a lot of noisy dialogue out, amplified the ice cream truck owner and customers dialogue, and faded some parts in the middle in and out and cut and pasted different parts together that made better sense that way.
I cut basically the last minute and fifteen seconds off and just worked and rearranged the first minute, which i thought told the most and essential parts of the story.
Yet again...enjoy this strange story!
Tajik Jimmy Re-Edited by the Queen
Silly, strange, confusing, odd.....yet intriguing. I decided to cut out most of the annoying singing made by Jimmy, but left enough to be essential to the story. At the beginning the narrator was saying a bunch of stuff about "two topics for today..." and I decided to cut all of that up until he starts "Tajik Jimmy's" story.
At the end I decided to end with a little ominous part of Jimmy's song...which sounds like he is singing a "this story will continue.." kind of thing...sort of mysterious :)
I faded in and out in some parts, mostly in the middle where he's singing and faded in the narrator. Even though the file is about seven seconds over, about three seconds of that is silence and the rest, i believed was essential. The producer could cut the last seven seconds off if they wanted to, because the narrator had stopped before that point...so that would probably be the outcue and the producer would probably cut the end singing anyway....even though it's my favorite part!
P.S. The end singing was also faded out..
